Superman: Escape from Dinosaur Island #1 (2026)

I have an issue with this little heartwarming story, and other similar stories for kids. There’s no lesson to learn here, or the wrong lesson. In this story, a child is bullied at school. Her classmates don’t believe she really met Superman. While being bullied, Superman shows up and addresses her by name, proving to the bullies that she was telling the truth. Then the bullies apologize and they all hang out. What is the lesson to be learned here? In real life, do bullies stop when you prove them wrong? Should you play games with them afterwards? In real life, will the metaphorical Superman swoop in to prove you were telling the truth?
