Happy thanksgiving! My comic book store is moving to a temporary space in a antique mall, the old building is getting demolished. Future is uncertain for Old Bill but he refuses to die!
I try not to double post here what I'm already covering on other socials, you may have seen the turkey video already. That day, a friend brought over his family's signature sauce, or chutney, or something, called sambal. I'm not sure, but it's reddish pink and it seems to be mostly caramelized onions and peppers. It's really good! Speaking of cross posting, my Fantasy Football team is "regional sandwiches", inspired by my own blog. Often I update my football profile picture with a new regional sandwich, and I'm choosing to count these sambal hotdogs. I think I'll google that word tonight and see what that's all about. His family is Australian? Not sure if that will play a role in sambal's history.
