I’m making this post from the parking lot of Fantastic Four: First Steps. It was actually pretty good! The characters were done well, they skipped the redundant origin story, and the world had a consistent aesthetic with great props. It was refreshing to hear a Marvel movie with an original soundtrack and score that fit the specific feel of the movie instead of generic action hero tones. Really impressed with how they handled Galactus, a planet sized threat, without making the movie too goofy. Actually, it was exactly goofy enough when it needed to be.

I saw Glen Gary Glen Ross on Broadway last weekend. It was a great show! Weird though that a lot of the audience laughed at parts that weren’t supposed to be funny, I think because it featured funny actors, people showed up expecting a funny play. They laughed nervously at the racist monologue, very “Springtime for Hitler”.

Pop Kill #3 - This is a fun little spy thriller

Although this was supposed to be a thinly veiled diary blog, I didn’t intend it to have anything relating to food. This was supposed to be one of the few spaces where I DIDN’T go on tangents about food. However, it just feels right. I don’t remember what happened last night but I have this image saved on my phone from 1:28am. I think I witnessed a car crash.

I may have said this before: When deciding between Pat’s and Geno’s, just go to the shortest line. Either make a good companion when walking to your car parked by the old movie theater. I decided to get whiz this time and I didn’t care about wiping cheese on my shirt. I picked my teeth with someone’s doorstep rosemary.
