The Walking Dead TP Vol. 14, 15, & 16 - Got these for a dollar each!

So I walk in and ask my girlfriend what she’s watching on the TV. She says it’s one of those 28 Days Later movies, but it’s “real bad”. She’s right, it looks like it was shot on an iPhone and the acting is worse than community theater Shakespeare. It was actually 28 Months After, a purposefully misleading title, which felt like someone filmed their own The Walking Dead fan fiction film. There was action, love, betrayal, but very few actual infected. In the spirit of this accident, we also watched another fan knockoff film, Alien: Rubicon. Despite featuring a cease and desist tempting Xenomorph on the poster, no alien monster in the movie. Instead, the plot centered around an alien orb ship slowly floating over cities and gently destroying everything in its path while marines and gmen gasped in control rooms. It was actually a pretty competent Evangelion movie, but it lacked any giant robots. Truthfully, there may have been an alien or a giant robot, but I wouldn’t know because I couldn’t sit through the last ten minutes.

When I leave the north east I like to get bad pizza. I find it fun to remind myself how good we have it up here. In Arkansas, I think I finally got my fill of bad pizza. This chain, Pizza Pro, serves the south west area with almost one hundred locations, and they basically serve roller skating rink level pizza to you at home for full price. It was a bit astonishing seeing as I must assume this is a popular and profitable franchise. Death to the bad pizza gimmick!

I did a lot more while traveling last week but that’ll all be posted on my Social

Pop Kill #3 - This is a fun little spy thriller

Although this was supposed to be a thinly veiled diary blog, I didn’t intend it to have anything relating to food. This was supposed to be one of the few spaces where I DIDN’T go on tangents about food. However, it just feels right. I don’t remember what happened last night but I have this image saved on my phone from 1:28am. I think I witnessed a car crash.

I may have said this before: When deciding between Pat’s and Geno’s, just go to the shortest line. Either make a good companion when walking to your car parked by the old movie theater. I decided to get whiz this time and I didn’t care about wiping cheese on my shirt. I picked my teeth with someone’s doorstep rosemary.

Harley Quinn Fartacular: Silent Butt Deadly #1 - April fools! I am never opening this bag…

I don’t really want to do “fast food posts” but I gotta admit I think the licensed tie-ins are funny. Recently we got Sonic 3, the movie I never thought I’d get (a Sonic Adventure 2 movie) so every other piece of shit gets a pass from me. The(A) Minecraft Movie came out over the weekend. I love Minecraft but I just cannot convince myself that seeing that movie will give me anything at all. However, I was in Fishtown on a Sunday and the only place to get food after the show was McDonald’s drive through. I saw something interesting on the menu, for ADULTS by the way.
